How do I change the default font or font size used by the Microsoft Works word processor, so that any new document I create automatically gives me the font size and style I want?
Changing the default font in Works, is slightly different to the way Word does it (see tip Change Word's default font). You must create a default template, which is set up to use the font and font size you prefer. Here's how to do it.
First, open a blank word processor document. Next, select the font and font size you want to use for all new documents. Click File, Save As and select Template. Enter a name for the word processor template and check the 'Use this template for new Word Processor documents' checkbox. Click ok to save the new template.
